29 Venture Concept

The marijuana business throughout America, is beginning to take off, as more and more individuals have are catching on to the deregulation that many states are now providing its citizens. The issue remains that many banking and lending institutions will not provide many dispensary with a line of credit or even allow these dispensaries or individual sellers to deposit money. What I propose is an online banking system that utilizes cryptocurrencies and cyrptobanking that swaps this cash for crypto, thus allowing marijuana dispensaries and other marijuana manufacturers to deposit their money. This will bridge the divide for many marijuana dispensaries and open up a new mode of banking. Many Marijuana Dispensaries no longer have a means of depositing their revenue into a reliable bank or even getting a line of credit due to the stigma surrounding the drug that they sell. If I open up a crytpobank allowing Dispensaries to deposit their saving in the form of cryptocurrencies and exchange goods and credit online, which can then be relegated into cash via Bitcoin many dispensaries will be able to have a means of safely guarding their cash while diversifying their revenue through investments and credit. relevant to the sociopolitical landscape of our nation; many people rely on marijuana for a variety of things, so coming up with an opportunity that facilitates the transitioning of marijuana into the mainstream is ingenious. Your solution to this problem is also quite original; I personally would have never been able to connect the cryptocurrency and marijuana industries the way you have, so you really are sitting on something great. I wish you wrote more about what you discussed because what you had was so great.
Innovation
Investment Banker, works for Hedge Fund, although investment is a primary concern for many with dispensaries and for bankers seeking to invest that money many do not have an issue taking dispensary money as it will eventually be diversified and hardly calls for a new mode of banking especially those dealing with cryptobanks. The boundaries of the need however, are that some hedge funds need to use cryptocurrencies in order to expand their financial profiles which would bring many dispensaries that cannot use banks to their financial sectors, two main forms of savings exists those which are kept in banks and the other which is invested many hedge funds, although risky, are willing to take money from large groups of sectors and diversify it. Independent Seller of Marijuana After my interview the owner of did tell me that most people within his line of work would love to have a system for depositing they're revenue and also investing it without the hassle of economic regulation.Law Enforcement Officer, how would an online banking system operate for law enforcement, surprisingly this idea was suggested originally by members of law enforcement,
Whatby having an online banking system built through block-chain for dispensaries and independent sellers, law enforcement could keep track of who what and where these froms of marijuana are being sold and which is legal and which is illegal.
Secret Sauce
Social Circles and Capitals and Unfair advantage
Doctor Dara Amole (Oncologists), Medical Marijuana prescription Doctor

1. This person is filing the domain expert of my industry , as someone who is an oncologist and prescribes and treats cancer patients with various Marijuana Treatments she is in a prime position to explain and shed light as to how these treatments are given, who is allowed to give them, how much is purchased and their relative costs. This individual is more of a technical expert who knows a great deal of information that I myself would like to know. This person is my familial relative, Aunt, who explained how the system operates. By having this person throughout my personal capital this allows me to better understand the industry and also notice potential customer needs and individuals to exploit.

2.  KNOX Dispensary seller, Jim Sloage

This person fills the supplier need for my industry, I contacted this person through a mutual friend, from South Florida. The seller as an MBA from the University of Miami and currently sells Medical Marijuana with several other partners who earned there MD's from UM as well Mr. Jim is one of teh managers who I had a lengthy phone conversation as he explained to me how the business operates and its issue concerning investing its funds Having this person's skill and experience in sales will provide me with necessary wisdom and a vast network of potential clients.

3. Bitcoin Investment John Greer, Coinbase Investment

This particle person fulfills the expert throughout my market, but more specifically offers a service very similar to the one I seek to venture into. Mr. Greer is a day trader for crypto-currencies and invests in various online banking institutions. He is also a family friend whom I contacted and tried to get a better understanding of how individuals could convert money into online currency and where these transactions would be taking place and the rules and regulations defining them. The idea is if I bring this individual clients then he can convert the money into an easier mode for investments and he will provide my clients with investment opportunities.

The major changes I made throughout my Venture Concept was the modification of my unfair advantage as well as how this would implement my business, specifically just how my business would be able to best the competition, each individual brings a new element to my venture, my previous critics showed me that I needed to connect just how my business would compete with others and what exactly my advantage would be in my business. They states I should change how I utilize my network, instead of just showing what my business is I show how it operates how I would employ those resources to best get peak advantage.

30A Final Reflection

My low points and high points were both necessary for me to understand just how the entrepreneur mind works most of the formative experience,  was the development of my business strategy, as supposed to following my passion. Often times passion is separate what is actually tangible for a business to develop. My most joyous experience was having the opportunity to Read from the Reading list because it allowed me to understand the development of how other entrepreneurs found success, it allowed me to learn from the mistakes of others and my proudest moment was when I could officially see what exactly my business would look like and how I would develop it. As the class ends I have a much better grasp of how an entrepreneur thinks, what is necessary to succeed, and I believe I am an entrepreneur even if I have not started my business yet. My recommendation for many students would be to ensure that they try to finish their assignments on time, always foster a mindset of urgency regarding your work, what you can do today should not be able to wait to tomorrow, always seek to maximize your productivity.

Free Money

My initial thoughts on this assignment were one of bliss, I thought it would be easy. I decided to go to Southwest Rec, Public on archer road, and Turlington Plaza with the hopes of running into the most people. My pitch was centered around the idea that I would give away money because it was self-improvement month at the UF college of liberal arts and sciences and we were hoping to change people's day by giving them some money. I would approach people who were waiting for the bus and those who were flyerin at turlington and public. Out of 5 attempts I thought i would be able to get at least 3 dollars away. It took me nearly 5 attempts to successfully get two dollars away. This assignment taught me a great deal about first impressions, particularly when you want to sell something to someone, it is alot easier to do this with more than one person, initially I did it by myself and it provide an odd conversation starter, but when I did it with someone else the conversation went much smoother, i approached people as they were actually in the middle of a soccer match and even at the workout stations, these people were actually more open and receptive to the idea. Giving away the dollar was harder than i imagined in the first few areas such as turlingotn and public because people seemed less aware of there surroundings and also less giving of their time, but southwest recreational was a much better location because it seemed as if people were a little bit more understanding. I assumed that people would be less interested at sw rec because of excersize, but rather they were more open and even had a little bit more fun with the idea of winning a free dollar.

Celebrating Failure

This semester something I failed in was my time management regarding my molecular genetics class, this unfortunately meant that I had to spend the majority of the time playing catch up with my work as supposed to, this showed me just how quickly work can pile up, also showed me that failure is not necessarily without its up side. Each opportunity provides people with a lesson and it showed me just how important it was, as an adult when you fall you look back to see what you made a mistake, that's the way you learn.

Reading Reflection 26A

The purpose of this book is the development of economy throughout the 21 century, but more specifically the advancements of the 3D printing and the ability to enable customized products, high value products that are hard to manufacture outside/ have little labor content and thus less labor arbitrage opportunity and finally "things that we can't even imagine yet."

This book developed my understanding of ENT 3003 by emphasizing the democratization of entrepreneurship: Anderson talks about how an inventor develops a business and how this business must be separate from blind passion and needs to be responsible and something customers will seek. He also discusses how manufacturing has changed overtime and how this affects business ideas and relations.

If I had to design an assignment it would be for individuals to find a common theme throughout their business ideas and see how much manufacturing it would take, this would help determine whether this is an ideal situation to puruse or if it is not a good idea

28 Exit Strategy

My exit strategy for this business was certainly something that came across my mind, I intend to develop the business for the next decade, which is also the same time frame the marijuana business is expected to reach its zenith. The development of the marijuana economy will continue to grow allowing myself the opportunity to grow my business with it. However, i do intend to sell my business off within the next ten to fifteen, ideally I would like to sell my business to either a bigger industry leader or perhaps a bigger tech company.

I have selected this particular exit strategy because i believe that it will be a good way for me to develop and grow my business while also providing myself with a safety net in case i ever want to get rid of the business.  By doing this I have influenced how I want to go about conducting my business and how I wish to grow it. I have decided that I should the limit of employees and also how big the business should get. I also seek to align myself with other industry financial leaders which are within my business to seek potential buyers., my users resources are also slightly different as it will be potential consumers and also buyers of my business

25A What's Next

Existing Market

1.) The next step for me would be to begin, coming up with a business infrastructure and begin analyzing the cost and benefit analysis to find out exactly how I would make my business begin making profit and what exactly my future consumers are going to need to provide a reliable consumer base.

2.) After interviewing three individuals who were are members of my market, I realized that what I considered to be next was very wrong, their advice helped put my process into perspective and how they aren't completely aligned for the business world. The first thing that i should be focused on is making sure that my product is easily accessible for people within my market, the KNOX Cannabis manager advised me that while my product is good. The majority of people may not necessarily understand the concept of cryptocurrency and where they may be able to take advantage of this product and where they can find it. The next person I interviewed was from a recreational seller of marijuana the next thing he suggested i focus on should be the development of business infrastructure, specifically how they business would operate, how the money would be transferred from physical coin to virtual and also where the investments would be made. The last customer i interviewed was a member of the Coin base Investment Firm, this was the most informative advice given. He told me next step should focus on what my potential competition could be and how I should beat them.

3.) Overall the advice i got was very enlightening the next step for me will be to understand if there are any other concepts which have been produced that may be similar to mine, if so then how is my idea different perhaps how can i out compete these individuals. This will help me develop exactly how the market is responding to these demands and who is responding to them. After that I will then focus on the development of my business infrastructure, specifically how I can develop a sound structure for conducting business.
My last step would be to develop a long term plan for my business, how do I envision this company growing and effecting the market that i wish to be a part of, how can I grow my consumer base, how do I provide easy access for those who have now idea what crytpobanking is.

New Market

1.) A new market would be the development of online medical banking in which marijuana dispensaries have there own regulated banking system many dispensaries are entering into community banking in which they will form new banks of their own.

2.)  This can provide me with a rare opportunity to merely facilitate the transactions of these accounts rather than establishing a whole new banking system online.

3.) My first interview was with TD Banking Bougainvillea Clerk, Ms Tyler who discussed with me the new methods their branch is using in order to accept deposits and profits from Marijuana Dispensaries and more importantly after I discussed my idea with her she told me that I would need to act more has a middle man for investments rather than an acceptor of deposits, she also highlighted the fact that in this particular situation the more lucrative deal would be to sign on as an crytocurrency investor with the bank as supposed to dealing with the dispensaries personally.  My last interview was with the new Manager for the Medical Marijuana Dispensary down in Miami and he discussed how many of these new institutions are depositing their money with affiliated hospitals. allowing them to divert the Banking Regulations and Invest in companies

4.) What I took away from both interviews was that although my idea was slightly originally many people have found ingenious was to solve their own problems and I could build upon their platforms;

23A

Resources

1.) Intellectual Capital
The first aspect which would make this venture different is the development of new intellectual property, specifically the code necessary to transfer currency into an online banking institution. So far this is a process has not been done before but more importantly it is something that cannot be easily duplicated as it takes an extensive knowledge in developing the necessary coding for cryptocurrency.

2.) Logistical Infrastructure

Much like the way Wal-Mart has taken over the grocery industry, my venture intends to develop the first logistical infrastructure for cryptobanking, by providing a well demanded service for customers, which will form a bridge between banking, crytpocurrencies, and more specifically the profits of our Marijuana Economy this will be the first mode of transfer and investments for many of these institutions. So far there is no resources that provides this service so far.

3.) The Social Capital/Experience
The number of individuals who are within my social capital bring a great deal of experience and in some cases provide many future customers. It is rare for a venture to be able to provide the individuals who are experienced not only in business but also in the health care industry, this will allow me to bridge the cap between two sectors of the economy, and by doing so greatly increase my customer profile and also add to the uniqueness of my venture.

4.) Research and Development

The key to building a great venture is the ability adapt to the changing times, my venture will seek to keep up R&D efforts by constantly updating the coding infrastructure  which provides the crytpocurrency with its security and versatility throughout the investment field. Each coder is unique, and the coding in this case will be a combination of how well the code can withstand utilization and different economic situations.

5.) Cross-Market Product

My product is marketed towards a wide-field personnel, meaning I intended to branch those who operate within the investment and banking center, and those who operate in the health care industry, this is unique to my venture and while others may be able to copy the format the product itself is unique to tailor the needs of my customers. This is a product and economic situation that cannot be easily copied.

6.) Cost Structure

Unlike a great deal of other ventures that require a great deal of capital and money to get off the ground. My venture is not that expensive as it mostly revolves around developing coding and computer infrastructure. The fixed and variable costs to operate my business will be far lower than most within my field, which offers me a unique and rare opportunity to provide profit and service to my customers.

7.) Organizational Culture

In my business there is no boss, the employees will work with me not for me. The idea is that each employee will be in the product that my company will be selling. My company will seek to bridge the gap between two booming markets and provide a clear cut solution to a growing problem. Focus on problem solving, creating a dynamic environment which individuals can foster healthy ideas, and institute a belief that people are always over profits.

21A Reading Reflection No. 2

  • How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big, Scott Adams

1.) The overarching theme for this book followed the life of Scott Adams, and how throughout the road to success there is often a permissive belief that one may have a great deal of control over the journey one takes and the obstacles you will face, instead 60% luck and 40% work. This is because on the road to success it is filled with unforeseeable failure.  Failure provides lessons and each time you will make mistakes you will begin to see different paths close and open.

2.) The book emphasized a series of important features concerning how to run a business and the importance of taking your passions into a physical manifestations of a business that can work, one aspect of the book was called "Passion is BullShit" i was immediately surprised at the title but quickly after reading more realized the connection to ENT 3003. The purpose of a business and a well-trained entrepreneur is to make an opportunity out of something you can see off a spreadsheet not something you can see through a smile. This seeks to enhance our discussion and lesson in class about seeing opportunities and understanding if they are actually lucrative.

3.) I would make students make a list of things the wish had solutions and then make another list for students to add their passions they would pursue if money was not even a consideration. If at any point along both lists, you see that their is an interaction, some form of intersection then that is a business proposal worth following.

4.)Q.  What is the Key to Success?

anwser: Hire the Employees.

Q. How do You Know you Hired the Right one?

You know because the business is successful.

Q. So the key to success is circular reasoning?

Yes because circular reasoning is the key to success.

This simple exchange in the book showed me how the simplification of success is boiled down to a few factors and how often times we seek complicated solution for complicated problems but forget to see the tree within the forest and start with small components before moving on into bigger ones, once you have started seeing a little success all that is necessary is to restart the process again, like a circle.

19A Idea Napkin 2

I believe these elements do fit them as they each build upon each other and the ability to provide my customers with a well developed plan. I do believe some issue with this business proposal lies in getting people aware of my product as it will be a very specific subset of people that I will be selling to.

18A Create A Customer

My ideal Customer Profile: Immigrant Doctor from the United Kingdoms
Name: Mycroft Ellington Oyewole
Young Male African 34 Years old
Education: Masters in Business from Kings College & PhD and Medical Degree from University of Harvard Medical College for Biology and Cancer
Profession: Currently operates as an Oncologist Researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital Medicinal Marijuana Unit who treats patients.

Dr. Mycroft is a researcher works in tandem between the sciences and business which is the aspect which I would like to be a part of in my future profession. As a researcher Dr. Mycroft often times has to work with Marijuana dispensaries and other marijuana growers in order to ensure the medicine is well taken care of. As a doctor he has first had perspective of how the drug is stored and utilized This would be the ideal customer because their medical background allows an understanding as to how these drugs and as the head of the Marijuana Dispensary Dr. Mycroft work an average 70 hours a week, hard working, diligent, who has sought any form of any Universal Healthcare that is on political petition which often requires him to vote Democratically. Mycroft often times has volunteers at homeless shelters. The similarities between my and this customer lies mostly within our political belief, we are both liberal leaning, both of us are interested in medicine and we both see growth for marijuana throughout the health sector. Were both African and both of us are interested within the same field of medicine, cancer research.

14A Halfway Reflection

1.) A necessary level of organization is necessary for one to keep up with work within this class as it is very easy to fall behind because most assignments are due on the Friday of each week, I have to say at the ought set I was not very organized and sometimes waited until the last moment to finished my assignments which can be a difficult task to complete.

2.) Most assignments build on top of each other and often times this can be easy if you understand your previous assignments, however, when I was making the Elevator Pitch video I was very nervous because public speaking is not necessarily my strong suit, I wasn't to sure if I would be able to clearly get my point across or even be able to effectively explain my idea. I wanted to skip this assignment in order to spare myself the embarrassment. However, an effective entrepreneur must be willing to stumble if he /she wants to succeed so I figured if I made a mistake then at least I would learn from it.

3.) My advice for next semesters students would be to strive to complete assignments at least 2 days prior to the deadline this allows time for corrections and questions to be asked to the teacher, if you have any doubts regarding your work give it to someone to review then try to realize the difference between nervousness and inferior work. My final advice would be to give yourself room for mistakes, when your unsure that's just room for more growth and perhaps some changes.

11A Idea Napkin

I am an avid music composer, for the last 15 years I have composed classical music. Composing something out of nothing has always been my favorite challenge. Above all I want to leave the world a little bit better than when I came in.  My customers will be people who currently own Marijuana Dispensaries who seek to have a need for depositing their revenue. Marijuana Dispensaries all whom sell marijuana recreation-ally or to third parties.  They will pay me a commission to deposit money to swap the check into cryptocurrency.  This will provide them with a means of safely storing their revenue and also open up a new market for investments. As someone who has owned a non-profit I know have had experience in running a business I have also learned the difference between trying to impress my customers and leaving an impression upon them.
I do believe that all the elements of my business do fit together nicely has it is a business model that can cohesively survive within this economy as it is something that no one is currently providing and with enough demand with the hopes of turning it into a successful business.

12A Figuring Out Buyer Behavior

Interview 1 & 2 & 3

The first two interviews I conducted dealt with the segment of the market which I believed and accurately predicted had issues with banks and Marijuana dispensaries. All three businesses were conducted with those who have the unmet need, the first time these business identify the need is when their sales are counted at the end of the month, because they cannot deposit the money, many of these dispensaries keep it within the safe or within a locked drawer. Some inventive methods to solve this problem, one of the dispensaries sometimes have to deposit the money within the employees personal accounts due to overflow within the safe, others have sent the money to family for safe keeping.  They have tried to find a new method of depositing their money such as classifying their business as medicinal herbage. The owners of these dispensaries have spoken to many friends and family concerning this issue even sought to donate to a few lobbying firms to change the financial regulations surrounding Marijuana Dispensaries and how the Federal Reserve regulates banks.

13A Reading Reflection

Walter Isaacson "Steve Jobs"

The first time I read this book, I felt a sense of completeness that I had not felt from an autobiography before, the first aspect that surprised me the most was the development and subsequent firing from Apple after the success of the first Apple computer. This surprised me because a big part of the successful entrepreneur is the story society tells, and Steve Jobs was truly a morally bankrupt individual. As Steve Wozniak said " you can make good products and be a good person, the two are not mutually exclusive."

I admired Steve Jobs ability and willingness to turn away from the crowd in order to conduct the orchestra, it is often necessary to be stubborn in order to seed one's dream, initially Steve wanted to give away the computer interface for free, however, Steve Jobs realized and had the business sense to develop it into a legitimate business one that could change people' s lives and make money.

I did not admire Steve Job's mistreatment and subsequent ignoring of his daughter and first wife Chrisann Brennan. He was a man who truly bad an impact on the universe but the way he conducted his personal life often times, verbally and emotionally abusing his coworkers and family caused him far more problems than necessary, in one particular incident he threatened to discredit one of his employees on the stage if the engineer could not fix the broken demo.

After his firing from Apple, Steve Jobs sought to start a new education company called NeXT although this and built the Cubi-NeXT workstation the entire station costs nearly 3500$ to build but was initially sold at $2000 it was a complete failure the company actually lost money and eventually closed down.  He eventually used that to capitalize on his return to Apple after he realized the difference between a right product and the wrong time and a right product at the right time, when Apple tried to push the Newton as a new cellular pager that failed but Samsung would soon sell out the same item 15 years later with the Galaxy Note 2

Steve Jobs was brilliant at figuring out what people needed before they even did, Henry Ford once said that "if he asked people what they wanted they would have said faster horses"  Steve Jobs developed a technology people did not realize they wanted but immediately came rushing when it was developed.

The dissolution of NeXT, although the company was failing in its R&D it was bought by Apple in 1997 for $429 million, I never understood why Apple bothered to make this sale, Steve Jobs was already on his way to Apple and it was clear that the company was failing so why waste the capital and resources.

If I had to ask Steve Jobs any question I would ask the following, In order to make an Impact upon the Universe do you believe that one would have to sacrifice their personal happiness with family and other interests? Also if you could go back would you change your relationship with Steve Wozniak?

Work is not Hard as long as it is what you enjoy!!! This is what I believe Steve Jobs would believe

10A Elevator Pitch

9A Testing Hypothesis Part 2

Interview 1

Who: Medical Dispensary Owner,
Although this type of business shares a great deal in common with my own style of business they fall outside my opportunity need because medical dispensaries are considered and sanctioned as medical associated business hence many banks provide services to these types of businesses

What: The need here is significantly different from what I seek to offer, because many of these business already have a closely related relationship with insurance companies, and banker in fact, many bankers would provide subsidized loans at lower interest rates because they are aware of the lucrative position many of these dispensaries are in.

Why: The underlying cause of the differences between those within my boundaries and those outside it is the designation of those outside my need as medical businesses.

Interview 2

Who:  KNOX Cannabis Dispensary

This dispensary has found a method in which the fall outside my opportunity need because they haev a completely different need, these types of dispensaries can deposit money within banks that are not associated within federal reserve system and hence are not regulated by the federal reserve, they deposit their money offshore banks.

What: The difference in need here is perception, this dispensary can deposit money however, they can only do so offshore, they're issue is the political administration which has brought on different regulations.

Why: Thirst cannot be mistaken for hunger, and in this case the situation concerning these individuals is political lobbying not a new form of banking.

Interview 3

Who: Dr. Correia, owner of a farming plant for Cannabis and other medicinal herbs, she is a Osteopathic Practitioner, this particular type of business is owned by one person, and its revenue is deposited within her personal accounts. Although she does

What and Why: The need Mrs. Correia has is more concerning regulation although the underlying need is similar to those who are within my boundaries because they are individually owned businesses and such are not subject to the same level of regulation.

Interview 4

Who Pot Entrepreneurs, have run into many different issue when seeking to turn their business into a profitable market, these are individual growers that sell their, product to third party distributors.

What and Why: The majority of the issue many of these people face is similar to the Dr. Correia  situation  they're regulation impeding many individual growers to associate with banking institutions.

Interview 5

Who: Partner Headquarter Credit Union the first form of financial system that began banking with Marijuana industries,
What  and Why: the issue with  this system of financing deals not in its acceptance of marijuana revenue but in its lack of diversification once these funds have been accepted within the financing.

Inside the Boundaries

Who is in: Those dispensaries which currently house grown and sell marijuana to either recreational usage or other medical purposes but cannot establish a banking system with banks.
What the Need Is: The Marijuana Industry is in need of a Banking system that will allow dispensaries to deposit their money.
Why the Need Exist: Many banking institutions throughout the United States is regulated by the Federal Reserve System and acceptance of money is based off of federal regulation which is currently stating that any bank that acceptance money from Marijuana dispensaries could be charged with money laundering.

Outside the Boundaries
Who is in: Many Medical Dispensaries
What the Need Is: Many of these dispensaries are not necessarily under the same regulation which causes many  of these dispensaries to be able to deposit money but they can only do so with a limited number of institutions.
Why the Need Exists: Federal Reserve Banking Regulation is under Federal Law which states that Marijuana is class I drug which means any one looking accepting money from it is money laundering.

8A Solving the Problem

Friday, June 1, 2018

7A Testing the Hypothesis Pt 1

Many Marijuana Dispensaries no longer have a means of depositing their revenue into a reliable bank or even getting a line of credit due to the stigma surrounding the drug that they sell.

If I open up a crytpobank allowing Dispensaries to deposit their saving in the form of cryptocurrencies and exchange goods and credit online, which can then be relegated into cash via Bitcoin many dispensaries will be able to have a means of safely guarding their cash while diversifying their revenue through investments and credit.

Interview 1

Dispensary Owner

Who:After my interview the owner of the Dispensary did tell me that most people roughly 75% were in need of this concept or some permutation of it as there is nothing currently available
What: The downside is that the only people who are actually in need of this idea are those that own dispensaries, farmers and other independent sellers would have no need for this because they are not registered as a business.
Why: The difficulty is not just the lack of banks but most importantly the culture surrounding marijuana if my hypothesis were to work culture must be changed also many cryptocurrencies are difficult to predict in terms of their value often fluctuating violently.

Interview 2

Who: Investment Banker, works for Hedge Fund, although investment is a primary concern for many with dispensaries and for bankers seeking to invest that money many do not have an issue taking dispensary money as it will eventually be diversified and hardly calls for a new mode of banking especially those dealing with cryptobanks
What: The boundaries of the need however, are that some hedge funds need to use cryptocurrencies in order to expand their financial profiles which would bring many dispensaries that cannot use banks to their financial sectors, two main forms of savings exists those which are kept in banks and the other which is invested many hedge funds, although risky, are willing to take money from large groups of sectors and diversify it.
Why: Many banks have regulations that stipulate what they may due with money and hedge funds are not bound by the same regulations which allow them to dabble crytpcurrency and cryptobanks to grow a new financial sector.

Interview 3

Who: Independent Seller of Marijuana After my interview the owner of did tell me that most people within his line of work would love to have a system for depositing they're revenue and also investing it without the hassle of economic regulation.
What: Many banks will not take money founded in Marijuana revenue also many independent sellers are fearful of police and other government agencies that may pursuit their work.
Why: Lack of defined regulation concerning banks and individuals owners as caused a great deal of confusion as to what exactly the premise for investing these types of revue are.

Interview 4

Medical Distillery Owner
Who: Many medical distillery owners about 50% of them would benefit from a system like this because it will allow them to diversify how they save and invest their money while allowing them to change the cultural stigma around weed.
What: They are able to formulate a broad spectrum base on the cryptomedical web, if multiple dispensaries join, the ability to form a chain-block bank would allow credit to be formulated and investments to be made.
Who: Investment challenges associated with revenue from dispensaries specifically those of medical owners.

Interview 5
Who: Law Enforcement Officer, how would an online banking system operate for law enforcement, surprisingly this idea was suggested originally by members of law enforcement,
Whatby having an online banking system built through block-chain for dispensaries and independent sellers, law enforcement could keep track of who what and where these froms of marijuana are being sold and which is legal and which is illegal.
Why: Keeping track of sales throughout the marijuana community could provide real time data as well as keep track of shipments and routes in which this drug travels, and also formulating a more thorough grasp of what the community looks and operates like.

What I found was astonishing, I had never concerned the Law Enforcement Aspect part of this opportunity but also how this opportunity could cause a great deal of unrest within the dispensary lives of patience as many of them may not be aware of how they're money is spend once they leave the vault of their shops.

6A Identifying Opportunities

Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act

This opportunity was found in the finance newspaper investopedia, the source of the information clearly analyzes and lays out the new the new regulatory trend of repealing Dodd Frank and the Wall Street Reform act that will allow many business and day time traders to begin trading using different regulatory features. The opportunity exists because the regulation as allowed many traders to trade on stock options and other derivatives previously blocked, the customers for such an opportunity would be the day traders as well as hedge funds and other financial investing firms. This opportunity would be easy to exploit for many investing professionals as it was done prior to 2008 crash and many of these trading practices are well known and utilized before 2008.  I saw this opportunity because I remembered my economic lesson regarding finances and how regulation goes down so investment and riskier financing practices go up.

White House slaps 25% tariff on $50 billion worth of Chinese goods

Trump has added fifty billion dollars worth of tariffs to Mexico, Canada, and the EU.  This information was found after it being released by the United States Depart of Commerce and published on the CNN money financial newspaper, the newspaper highlights the purpose of the tariffs as well as the economic opportunities such as more manufacturing jobs for steel and also an increase in American made Steel and Aluminum being sold across the world. The most likely customers for these new tariffs are to be American consumers as it will be cheaper to buy American steel than imported steel from around the world, it will be harder to exploit this opportunity however because tariffs could make products more expensive thereby negating the reason to by these products.

Alaska faces serious mental health care challenges. New regulations are unlikely to help.

This information was found inside the Alaskan Financial Job report, after new regulations on the Health Care Sector for the state went into affect causing many doctors and insurances to provide health care to part time workers, this report detailed how and who would be affected by the new measures and clearly showed that due to regulations they're would be a greater need for more insurance companies and medical profession within the state of Alaska. They're will be significant growth within the medical sector of Alaska, although this opportunity will be hard to exploit because the regulations are very restrictive are not entirely clear on how it will affect current medical businesses.

Cramer: This jobs report shows we have the 'perfect economy' for stocks

The information provided came from CNBC Financial Advisory and Host of the Investment Firm Cramer INC. The article detailed the new jobs report that came out on May 31, 2018 and the economic trend that reached unemployment to 3.8% the lowest since 1969. Allowing for greater economic stability but also an increase in business development as more banks will now be able to lend at lower interest rates, and the federal reserve keeping interest rates as they are, this will allow a greater number of business to expand and hire more people. the willing customers of this will be the American people, and it will be far easier to exploit this opportunity as it will be readily available for everyone.

    5A Identifying Local Opportunities

As marijuana dispensaries open their doors, Florida registers 5,400 new users per week

    http://www.miamiherald.com/news/health-care/article212181799.html

The number of individuals using the marijuana has grown tremendously throughout the years as it has come under increasing positive light. The number of dispensaries selling medical marijuana have also grown since State Regulations have eased the utilization of marijuana for those in pain, however many of these dispensaries are having a hard time with banks to take their money. Many banks will refuse to take dispenssaries money and will not provide any line of credit to these institutions because they fear many of these dispensaries will use their stores as a means to sell marijuana recreationally which is illegal.  Marijuana Dispensaries are the one's with this problem as it means many of these dispensaries will not be able to open a line of credit and must keep their cash in a locked vault within the dispensaries. If someone could open gofundme lines of credit for dispensaries they could become the online bankers to dispensaries through cryptocurrencies.

Groups, including UF team, outline no-kill shelter idea

DOGS DOGS DOGS. They are truly mans best friend but often times they're are many who do not have any homes and when many of these dogs can not find a home, they are put down. The proposal is to use a portion of government spending to increase the number of shelters and hope that they may also end the legislation allowing for the killing of domesticated animals when they do not have any homes to be placed in. This allows many new homes to be built, veterinarians  to open different practices for caring for these and providing new homes for them.

Legalizing cannabis divides candidates for governor

    http://www.gainesville.com/news/20180601/legalizing-cannabis-divides-candidates-for-governor

The legalization of cannabis is a hotly contested issue throughout the state and federal legislature however due to increase pressure from the public many state legislators are still divide on the issue of legal cannabis, Those whom this may affect are those with medical pain that may not have a medical fur-low to utilize marijuana yet, as it is only prescribed for cancer and limited number of patients. However this divide provides many of the medicinal marijuana to show how marijuana may help the community, those with medical fur-lows may be able to change the cultural climate around marijuana and even provide a new economic sector of recreational cannabis stores.

UF Researchers Identify Patient Factors Associated with Persistent Musculoskeletal Pain

    http://www.miamiherald.com/news/health-care/article212321844.html

Hurricane Irma devastated major parts of Miami and caused road closures as well as electrical outages in major parts of the city, these areas became unreachable for quite some time, and many elderly homes were not  checked during the storm an for a week after the storm, many elderly individuals died due to this massive oversight and inability to access the patient. This presents itself as a wonderful opportunity to integrate some sort of cellular app which can alert care takers on the condition of patients when disasters strike and the care taker may be separated from the patient, this issue plagues most ill patients most specifically harmful to babies and elderly if the issue is not rectified.

ENT 3003 Forming an Opportunity Belief

1.) I have a belief that the current energy grid is outdated and in need of a more wireless and less alterable electrical grid.

2.) The unmet need is the lack of accessible and affordable energy necessary to power our growing society without the use of non-renewable resources, those that have this need are specifically those within developing nations and certain areas of rural America, where electricity is difficult to excess due to their location. The need is fairly new has it has become a growing problem for the world to find a new means of renewable energy. Many people including companies are using solar power as well as wind or water has a means of generating electricity without fossil fuels. I would say I am currently 65% that this opportunity exists

3.) The ideal customer would be one in need of electricity within Rural America

4.)I interviewed my Uncle who works in a Nuclear Power Plant out in Idaho, he began noticing this need a few years ago when the Nuclear Power Plant could no longer provide energy to the entire Northeast of the State when it went under construction, however, this need is only present when the Plant is under construction during the winter. As an increase in number of houses without electricity through the winter could be deadly they're switching to generators to keep houses running during winter at times. Many civilians are not satisfied with this solution because winter is a crucial time and almost impossible to survive without heat.

3.) Members of the Developing Nations

4.) I interviewed my Family back in Nigeria, we discussed how the need for an energy source is always felt and is never something that goes away since having electricity is a luxury. This need has always been present sine 1960's ever since the Nigerian Independence became official. Many people do not have the money nor the luxury of addressing this need, instead they burn kerosene labs and try to buy a generator if possible. They are currently not satisfied within this solution because it is merely a band-aid for a much larger problem.

    3.) College Campuses and Students

4.) I spoke with many RA's as well as the System Manager for FSU dormitories, what I learned was quite surprising. Most of the energy that runs throughout Florida Campus are actually recycled, over the last few years there's been an increase in recycled energy. from solar panel trash cans to solar powered auditoriums many universities across Florida have already switched the majority of their systems to a more eco-friendly system. This need has satisfied many people across the state including state legislators and students. They first became aware of this need nearly 10 years ago during the Hurricane season when power was lost for over a month due to destruction of near by energy grid blocks.  Since then many universities and companies have turned towards more eco-friendly energy systems.

5.) This assignment was very enlightening as the saying goes sometimes you think you have an idea but chances are someone has already implemented it in a different form. Although some people are clearly in desperate need of renewable energy the cost of developing this could be more expensive than actually implementing.

7.) My opportunity belief has changed greatly because I realize that even though I may have a good idea, a simpler more effective solution may already be in play. Not much of my original idea is still intact in part because I realized how difficult it would be to implement also whether it would truly meet the need of the prospective customers, I believe all entrepreneurs  should adapt to a certain degree to their customers, however, often times in order to lead the orchestra you have to turn your back to the crowd so this is an idea that I personally hold to and think entrepreneurs should put more stock in. I do believe that my new opportunity is more refined and perhaps more accurate now that I understand the needs of the community better.

    ENT 3003 Entrepreneurial Story

My junior year of High school I developed a theory to see if it would be possible to develop Radiant Energy, an invention and concept initially envisioned by Nikolai Tesla. I soon founded Humanity Aiding Technology Project (HAT Non-Profit)- In 2016 I founded this non-profit project which built radiant energy generators which can generate electricity without using non-renewable resources. Once these generators were built they were implemented in low income neighborhoods to reduce energy consumption and also to see if it were possible to transmit electricity through a more efficient method than an energy grid like the one used throughout modern america.

    Image result for wireless electricity

    Bug List ENT 3003

1.) Inability to Listen to Music and Charge your iPhone X due to single port design.

Why: This bug was an initial design flaw with the singular purpose of promoting Bluetooth headphones and other wireless capabilities, however; because Bluetooth technology has not caught up with plug in headphones it leaves a great gap between what is futuristic and what is actually usable and pleasurable.

2.) The inability for many bus riders to determine when they're bus driver is on a break, so that those of us waiting for the bus do not wait at  the bus longer than necessary.

Why: Each bus driver is allowed a certain amount of break, however, bus riders do not have a specific time when they should take that break, they can take it whenever they feel it convenient as long as another driver can take over that specific route during the shift.

3.) Lack of Water Tank for the my Air Conditioner

Why: Due to the apartment style living that I currently reside in many of the A/C units do not have enough room for a Water Tank when water begins to leak from the A/C during the summer, which causes me to have to constantly call the repair man or mop it up myself.

4.) Playstation Compatibility Across Platform, many Ps4 Players cannot play with other players across platform like P.C. or Xbox gamers

Why: This issue exists because the technology to have built in cross platform gaming does not exist within the Playstation Network but does not exists within Xbox and P.C. gaming

5.) Many scooters are limited by their size, because of this they lack proper seat belt restraints.

Why: Seat belt restraints are something missing from all scooter and most motorcycles as it is often common for many who ride these things to shift with the wait of the scooter causing restraints to be difficult to implement and evenly deadly.

6.) Protective Covering for Food from Radiation during Use of Microwave

Why: The effectiveness of Microwave is the use of direct contact between food and heat generated by the microwave causing any covering to be mute.

7.) Insane Waiting Time during Lunch Time at the Reitz Union Food Court which causes blockage of doorways and stairwells

Why: The limit of food resources at the reitz uinon causes small selection options for students they're by causing longer lines.

8.) Price of Textbook at UF Bookstore  in comparison to those found online

Why: The bookstore is more expensive because of the direct relationship between the books Company and UF Bookstore, this causes higher prices.

9.) Many text message systems on Android are very slow what bugs me is a lack of Imessage Application for Andriod Users,

Why: Due to Andriods open system they do not have a single foundation for which a text message app can be sent, this causes cross platform lag in messaging

10.)  When it rains it pours and many scooter drivers do not have a protective covering like cars do. to shield them from detrimental weather.

Why: Due to their size and relative cheapness many scooters do not have a covering to protect their drivers from weather during use it would cost more if they're was a covering and also be difficult to implement.

11.) Overheating of Phones, while a phone charges, or maybe at the end of the day the battery receives this charge causing the phone to heat.

Why; Due to the lithium style batteries used in phones this element heats up when heated causing the phone to heats up

12.) Because most filters are dependent on how often they are used many times I may not know exactly when to change my filters on my A.C. because it is not on frequently and used sporadically.

Why: Because you cannot tell when to change a filter with irregular use since the filter timeline is based solely on regular usage.

13.) The inability for Iphones to allow the usage of multitasking through multiple apps being used at once because the CPU and RAM cannot handle the different multiple apps running at the same time.

14.)  As someone who is lactose and tolerant it is often difficult to eat dairy products such as ice cream, or cheese that do not contain lactose, they are lactose and tolerant milk but not other dairy products.

Why: It is often times very difficult to make diary products without lactate, it is a more expensive fermentation process one that may cost more than it is to sell the lactose intolerant product.

15.) Many bluetooth devices are limited by how strong their battery can handle wireless signals, my bluetooth device can not play music more than 10 feet away from my phone.

Why: due to this many devices have short ranges because of the small battery sizes, battery can only sustain sending signals less than 10 feet.

16.) Many UF students have to cross the roads throughout Turlington, which adds nearly 30 minutes to travel time when driving throughout campus, traffic gets clogged so much that if emergency vehicles needed to pass they would not be able too.

Why: Because of the design of the school, and the number of students who are scheduled to take classes at the same time, his causes many students to be walking around and using the streets as a pseudo-side walk.

    17) Each professor is limited to a number of TA's and judging by how popular the classes are they're can be hundreds of students within one course. The number of students per class here at UF is too high.

Why: Certain courses are more popular than others, some of them require more staffing and more money to fund, with a lack of tenured teachers causes many teachers to take on more students and a higher course number with more course work.

18.) Many Lab Materials are often reusable, but many Labs require you to buy a new set of Manuals or perhaps another lab work set such as scalpel and for sets

Why: Many times Protocol requires a new set of manuals and also a new set of work set tools because of contamination protocol.

19.)  Doctors are busy individuals often seeing dozens of patients within a few hours, however, the wait time to see a doctor when one makes an appointment is truly ridiculous.

Why: Many doctors book patients with what is known as a "30 minute patient interval" these are thirty minutes before or after your appointment time that the doctor may not be able to get to you, this is so that the patient and the respective families may feel that they are getting the doctors undivided attention.

20.) Often times it is almost impossible to complete assignments without the use of the internet, this may sound as like a positive good, but often times during natural disasters or other modes of disasters where electricity is out its as if life itself as stopped.

Why: We currently live in a technological age, all things most be done on the internet, or at least controlled by some electrical device.

This assignment was quite difficult for me because, while I have thought of things that bother me, I have not considered how or why they bother me, but also how I might be able to develop a solution for these issues.
